I find that a great way to be productive without actually having to leave the house is to cook. Pulling out the old pasta roller and banging out some tortellini in an hour or so not only makes you feel like you haven’t wasted another day doing nothing at all, but more importantly, it makes your parents feel like you aren’t just using their house for free rent. Which of course you are not.
